About
Since our inception in 1986, our chapter at the University of Arizona has strived to provide the best Phi Alpha Delta experience possible for our students. Our leadership and dedication has been recognized on the national level. Our chapter has won every national award at least once. We take pride not only in our members, but in the service we perform to the community and to the UA, as well as where our members go after graduation.
How To Join
We have informational meetings at the beginning of each semester for prospective members. Anyone wanting to join Phi Alpha Delta must attend either meeting.
For the Fall 2007 semester, these meetings will be held on:

- PAD Pre-Law members receive a free subscription to the PAD published Reporter. The Reporter is published quarterly and designed for PAD members and updates on programs being sponsored by PAD chapters throughout the United States.

- On a national level PAD has negotiated significant LSAT Preparation Course discounts for PAD Pre-Law members through various LSAT Preparation Companies.

- PAD Pre-Law students are eligible to apply for the PAD MasterCard used by PAD's worldwide.
- PAD Pre-Law Discount
- PAD Pre-Law members receive a $10 discount on their initiation fee upon joining a PAD Law School Chapter.
- Law School Contacts
- PAD assists graduating PAD Pre-Law seniors in their transition to law school by providing them with names, addresses, and phone numbers of the PAD Law School Chapter offices at the law school they will attend.

- Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity is a service organization of Phi Alpha Delta Law and was started in 1981.
- Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity was first chartered at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
- There are 149 chapters of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity throughout the Unites States and Puerto Rico.
- There are 180 chapters of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at ABA approved law schools throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
- The ideals that Phi Alpha Delta is founded on are Integrity, Courage, Compassion and Professional Service and our motto is "Service to the student, to the school, to the profession and to the community."
- Our chapter (Knox Chapter at the University of Arizona) had 27 charter members when it was started on February 1, 1986.
- Phi Alpha Delta connotes the phrase "Philos Adelphos Dikaios," which means "Justice is a dear brother" or "Love of Humanity and Justice for All."
